With over 30 years of painting experience, I take great care to capture the unique spirit and personality of your subject. This listing is for a custom portrait created from your photo, featuring a pet (or person) with a minimal background.

THE PORTRAIT

  • This listing includes one subject

  • Sizes 6x6" and 8x8": head and shoulders only

  • Size 8x10": head or full body

  • Each portrait is painted by hand from your photo on Ampersand Aquabord, a professional-quality surface with a softly textured, absorbent clay coating that beautifully enhances watercolor details and color depth.

Optional Framing
You may choose to have your portrait framed in a 7/8" deep floater frame, made by Ampersand specifically for Aquabord panels. (See photo #2 for an example.)

PHOTO GUIDELINES
Please upload 1–3 clear reference photos.
The best photos are taken in natural light—ideally outdoors in the morning (around 10–11am) or late afternoon (3–4pm), or indoors near a bright window.

TIMING & SHIPPING

  • Please allow 1–2 weeks for completion, as this is a more detailed portrait than my mini paintings.

  • All original artwork ships with tracking to U.S. addresses only.
