Kathy grew up in New England and settled in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband after serving four years in the US Air Force. After being a stay at home Mom and dabbling with online sales on Ebay in the 2000s, she completed her art degree and started freelancing and selling art on Etsy. She rebranded as Little Splashes of Color in 2017 to have an additional place to showcase her art.
