How My Husband Inspired My Military Aircraft Paintings

I never imagined I’d be painting fighter jets, but my husband’s love for military aircraft sparked my own curiosity. He grew up at Langley AFB, the son of a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force, and spent his childhood building model airplanes and learning everything he could about them. His passion for aviation was contagious, and a couple of years ago, he encouraged me to start painting these incredible machines. Now, I love not only capturing their sleek designs in watercolor but I'm learning to appreciate the history behind each one.

I've added some new airplanes recently in more detail and decided to repaint some of my previous ones so that they will look better as larger canvas prints.  My latest painting is the F/A-18 Super Hornet, and I’m excited to share the process with you!
